Research and Development
We interviewed 10 blind and low vision (BLV) individuals and found that BLV individuals face significant challenges in developing spatial awareness skills. We created a multimodal approach that combines tactile building blocks with a scanning app. After user-testing, we found support for this tool with some room for improvement. Further research is on-going and we are looking at collaborating with the High Museum to make their exhibit more accessible.
